April Events in Denver - Celebrate Earth Day!

Spring in Denver can be warm and sunny or cold and snowy – but no matter the weather there are always interesting things to do!

22 April 2013
Denver Earth Day Fair
10am to 2pm
Denver City and County Building
April 22 is Earth Day, which celebrates our environment and raises awareness about ways we can protect it. Denver’s Earth Day Fair recognizes local and sustainable businesses, but most importantly features some of Denver’s best food trucks – the best places for lunch in the city!

Here are some other ways to celebrate Earth Day:

Denver Botanic Gardens - Admission for Students with ID $9 (FREE on 22 April)

Denver Museum of Nature and Science - Admission for Students with ID $8 (FREE on 21 April)

Denver Zoo - Admission $15

New Movie!

42
The movie 42 tells the story of Jackie Robinson, the first African-American to play baseball in the major-leagues. He is a very important figure in the history of both baseball and the American Civil Rights movement.
