Things to do in Denver in June!

Looking for some things to do in June?

Farmers’ Markets!
Now that it’s almost summer, local produce is available, and most cities in the Denver area have their own Farmers’ Market. You can buy the freshest fruits and vegetables, as well as other foods like homemade bread, locally-produced honey, and meats. Usually on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Colorado Renaissance Festival, June 15-August 4
It’s a ways away from Denver, but the Colorado Renaissance Festival is not to be missed! You can watch jousting, sword-fighting, shop for some unique and interesting things, see great music and comedy performances, eat incredible food, and enjoy life like it might have been during the Renaissance in England!

Juneteenth Music Festival, June 15th
One of the largest festivals in the US, with many live music performances and a great atmosphere.

Make Music Denver, June 21st
Musicians will line the 16th Street Mall all day! It’s only two blocks away from the school, so take the time to check it out!

Cherry Blossom Festival, June 22 and 23
The Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates Japanese-Americans’ heritage with traditional dance and martial arts performances, as well as stalls selling Asian foods, art, gifts and clothes!

Movie! Man of Steel – Opening June 14th

An updated version of the Superman story, promises to be entertaining and action-packed!
