America's Favorite Pastime - Colorado Rockies vs. San Francisco Giants

Americans love sports, and one of our favorites is baseball - so there is really nothing more American than to go to a baseball game!

Last Friday the Colorado Rockies played the San Francisco Giants, and it was a great game! Something happened which only happens very rarely in baseball - a Grand Slam! A Grand Slam happens when each base has someone on it, and the person "at bat" hits a "home run" - hitting the ball out of the field. The team scores 4 points from one hit!

Even if you don't like baseball, being at Coors Field is great. There's music, cheering, and a lot of good energy from the crowd. Everyone is in a good mood and it feels like you're having fun with all of Denver!

So if you're looking for a fun, all-American activity this summer, think about taking some friends to a baseball game!
