Things to do in Denver-August

You are probably asking yourself, Things to do in Denver in August? August is half over! I know I know....I apologize. Hopefully you can do some of these things this month and actually most of them you can do into September! I will publish another "Things to do in Denver" in a couple of weeks for September. I promise!

August is one of the last hot months in Denver. Soon it will cool down, so get outside and enjoy yourself. What better way to cool yourself off than going to WaterWorld! I think the pictures explain themselves.

If you haven't seen much of the city, an interesting way to discover it is on two wheels. Bikealope Bike Tours offers 2.5-3 hours tours of the city all on a bike. You don't have to rent a bike, it is included in the price. Check out more at: http://www.bikalope.com/

Love Nature? Right now the Butterfly Pavilion is offering discounted tickets after 3pm. (That works perfectly with your school schedule!!) It is now only $5!

The Denver Botanic Gardens is also a beautiful place to visit. It is close to downtown and on August 27th they are having a FREE day! Go check out a beautiful place and not spend a dime.

Hungry? At Civic Center Park on Tuesdays and Thursday from 11am-2pm there are multiple food trucks where you can purchase some yummy food!

Rollar Coasters! Waterslides! Rides! Oh My! Elitch Gardens has it all. Buy your discounted tickets at the school for $30 dollars.

Go outside and have some fun!!!!!
