Things to do in Denver in September

As promised, I am writing to you about fun activities to do in the month of September!!!

1. Taste of Colorado- Actually starts in August, August 30-September 2nd. This huge festival is held in Civic Center Park. You can buy tickets and sample different foods from different restaurants around Denver. There is also music and many things to buy.

2. Watch a professional football game- Football season is about to start and Denver has a really good team! Tickets are a little pricey, but it is totally worth it to see the Denver Broncos play. Some home games in September are the 5th against the Baltimore Ravens, the 23rd against the Oakland Raiders, and the 29th against the Philadelphia Eagles. Get your tickets at http://www.denverbroncos.com/tickets-and-stadium/index.html

3. Go Snorkeling!-Denver is landlocked (no ocean) but that doesn't mean you can't do a little scuba diving or snorkeling. The Aquarium downtown offers an opportunity for you to swim with the fish!!

4. Free days at museums this month:

Denver Museum of Nature and Science- September 8th

 Art Museum- September 7th

Pepsi Center Tour Friday!!

Have you ever been to the home of the Denver Nuggets or  even the Colorado Avalanche?
The place where numerous singers had their concerts, including Madonna and Taylor Swift?
That's where we were this past Friday!!
This enormous arena was built in 1997 and there is a basketball court, the beautiful Blue Sky Grill restaurant, and the arena itself where players play hockey or basketball or lacrosse.
There are over 200 events scheduled each year here and we learned a lot during an hour and a half at the Pepsi Center- the different players, the
Nuggets and the Avalanche, and took lots of pictures.!!!!
